A dental visit means being examined by your dentist, who diagnoses and treats conditions that can range from routine to extremely complex. Members of the dental team may include a dentist, dental assistants, lab technicians, and dental hygienists.

- Composite and Amalgam Fillings
- Crowns, Bridges, and Implants
- Root Canals
- Oral Surgery with Sedation
- TMJ Treatments
- Snore Appliances (sleep study must be complete via PCM)
- Sick Call Daily
How to Make an Appointment
Contact the reception desk at 605-385-3657 to schedule an appointment. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to complete required paperwork.
For after-hours emergencies, contact the dentist on-call at 605-385-6700.
Important Information
- Dental care for non-active duty personnel is very limited.
- Family members of active duty service members are strongly encouraged to enroll in the TRICARE Dental Program.
- Retirees and their family members are advised to enroll in the TRICARE Retiree Dental Program.
Dental Options Outside of Military Dental Clinics
For dental care outside of a military dental clinic, TRICARE offers dental coverage for service members, families and survivors. Additionally, retired service members, their families and certain survivors may qualify to purchase dental coverage through the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program.
